Summary
Maddie Castle is broken. Ever since the tragedy that struck on her twins' 10th birthday, she's been trying to fit the pieces together, to get back to the life she led before. Maddie, her husband, Dom, and their children, Aidan and Annabel, lived in a comfortable home on a quiet street in a London suburb. Life was busy and satisfying. They were happy. Weren't they?
Now, a disoriented and grieving Maddie floats like a ghost through each day, hardly sleeping, eating, or speaking. It's easier to stay locked in her own head than to torment herself by reliving what happened. And yet, the harder Maddie tries to pin down her memories, the more they slip out of reach. Is her guilt and remorse justified? Is it Maddie's fault that everything was ripped apart?

Brilliant storyline
I like the way the story changed in the middle and it wasn’t what I originally thought it would be , lots of twists and turns , stoke more predictable towards the end bit worth the read and will look out for books written by the author in future

bit of a diff story line
the story was a bit easy to predict but i did enjoy it. It kept me interested. I seen a lot of negative reviews and complaints about the narration but i had no complaints

6 chapters in and I’m giving up … can’t bear to listen to another minute of the dreadful narration
How a narrator can ruin a book in less than 6 chapters … just couldn’t force myself to listen any longer … who knows whether the story is any good … I’m just not prepared to gamble another 8 hrs of my life that I’ll never get back 🙄 Shame

don't waste your time so unbelievable in parts
the plot was all over the place, some parts were so unbelievable it was so bad! the reveal about the girl not being dead dragged on for way too long when it was obvious it never happened, such a bad story don't waste your time on it

Awful narration
Awful narration, I got to chapter 15, then really couldn’t carry on. It’s a shame, I think it could have been a far better story with the right narrator.

Wow! I was enthralled!
This was a fantastic story that had me instantly enthralled! Henrietta is an exceptional voice actress! I haven't stopped listening, only to sleep. There were clues as to how it would end, but the twists and turns kept me guessing. I highly recommend this book!
