Summary

A hundred years have passed since everything fell apart, but we survived, as we always do. Now we face an even greater threat: the subjugation of the human race by forces from beyond our stars. Welcome to The Omega War.

As we struggle each day to survive, we remember through the stories we've stolen; it is through them that we have come to know the face of our true enemy. Turn back the clock and witness the events that set into motion the last war this universe shall ever witness.

This book is all we have now. Files, transcripts, stories, all taken from their relentless hands. These are tales from before, information never meant for human eyes. We thought we lost everything, that we had no choice but to start over.

No one is left living to remember these things, and that's exactly how they like it. We may not be able to fight them, but we have their secrets now, and that's enough to show them something they've never felt before: fear.

You may not understand it at first, but these pieces, they all fit together. The Omega War didn't start on the day that everything changed; it started long before that.

Witness the Last Great War as ancient nations waged war, all for power and control. They mortally wounded the Earth in their search for conquest.

Listen as the first man to cross the ocean of stars tells you his tale, his fear, and his hopes for the future. Hear his voice crackle with insanity as something sinister stalks him in the shadows of infinite space.

Feel the seeds of love blossom in the heart of a woman who forever left behind the safety of society to live in the chaos of the wasteland. Can a schism so wide between peoples who once lived in peace ever truly be healed?

Nope!

this is the first audio book that I've ever returned. I listened for about 2 hours into it but really wasn't feeling it. I'm not sure whether it was the narrator or the actual story but either way, I didn't like it.
