The cosmetic recipes likely offer natural and skin-friendly alternatives to commercial products, appealing to those looking to reduce chemicals in their beauty regimen. Lastly, the inclusion of tea recipes not only provides a soothing and enjoyable way to consume herbs but also adds a cultural and historical dimension to the practice of herbalism.

wish there were 10 stars to rate this one
OK this is it, the true bible for beginner herbalists. Love the PDF copy of the book that was included. Loved the historical material in the first 2 chapters. TOC is fabulous and directs you where you need to go. Chp 5 the best of the best: 180 pages of remedies for specific ailments... LOVE this author, yet can't look for more books because it will take me YEARS to absorb (haha) all the knowledge and wisdom in this book. SUPER highly recommend.

Very informative
The book is very informative and touches many herbal remedies. They are well explained and includes pros and cons. There is so much we don't really know as we are so used to used to synthetic medications that we even forget that in the past there were no synthetic meds and natural medicine is what's used! The author did a great job explaining the benefits. Really recommend it.
