A wonderful listen and well told. Incredibly hard at times, and emotional. However, uplifting and joyous too. An interesting perspective. I would recommend for sure .

Wow, I have just finished this book and am full of a lot of feelings. The story is picturesque without being overwrought and the individual characters are developed tenderly, each with their own strengths and complexity. I think what was an overwhelming thought for me during this listening was of the thousands of young women and girls who are killed in terrible ways. The families and communities that suffer so when weak men do their worst. I couldn't help but think about Abby and Libby of Delphi IN, thinking about them watching their heart broken families during the search for justice. I loved this book, but will be careful who I recommend it to, as it is so heart breaking. It would be wonderful to know our loved ones are just through a veil, still loving.

I loved this book! Convincingly and sensitively read, the story haunted me for three days. I had to ration my listening - the temptation to complete the story in one session was very strong indeed. Never having \"read\" the book previously, I found the storyline startlingly emotive: charged with a childlike intensity yet delivered with a calm detachment which I found at once inspiring and unnerving. This is a story which requires very little suspension of one's disbelief. Though I found some of the final sections a little \"romantic\", I cannot, in all honesty, rate this super book at fewer than 5 stars.

I'm a couple of hours left to go and savouring every second.
