Summary

Odd pronunciation
It was difficult to listen to this audio book due to the narrator's strange pronunciation.

The story
Loved the story not the narrator. Her pronunciation of words containing the letter A was very odd

Really Appalling Narration
The narrator has such a strangely sibilant way of speaking, twisting vowels out of recognition. She is trying to imitate an English accent but it is so awful that I can’t listen to any more. Back is not pronounced bark. Father is not pronounced Fother etc etc. It interferes with the story, which in itself is packed with historical inaccuracy and unlikely behaviours. That said, it would probably be an okay listen but I can’t stand the narrator any more, and will avoid this narrator in the future.
