Such a cute mini story, I loved following Dorian back home at such an event that shook the world ❤️

I need a Dorian in my life

The novella length suits this series as the author doesn’t pad it out with repetition from previous books. The ending was a bit abrupt but not horribly so. Dorian is perhaps a better character than Zoe with all her whinging and introspection.

I like the sound of the book and you will be drawn into a lovely story that nicely introduces the characters and their more than chaotic lives.
The story of how Zoe and Dorian (lovely play on Dorian Gray) meet and establish their relationship is nice and very touching. It is lovely story although, the ending could be a little more hard hitting and have a better twist.
It is what it is, a simplistic story. The use of alchemy should have a better chemical element and the writer could have researched more to pull this element into the story to provide more credibility to the use of the manuscripts. This was the only disappointing aspect of the writing.
I recreated the recipes and they were as delicious as described.
A lovely read whilst recuperating from foot surgery.

I’ve really enjoyed this whole series. It’s light hearted and fun and I will miss Zoe, Dorian & friends on their mysteries.

I love Dorian and Julia Motyka’s portrayal of the cheeky wee Gargoyle. A welcome short story after binging all the books in the series.

These really are my favourite collection of Audible books.
I didn't realise this book and the following came out in November. I listened to all the other books in October and assumed I'd be waiting a long time for the next book. I was delighted to see that the two following books have been added.
This is some of the best writing and narrating. I've tried to listen to other audio books by the author but the narrator wasn't as good as Julia Motyka. I tried to listen to books narrated by J.M but the writing was t as good as Gigi Pandian. They're the perfect alchemical combination :)
