But as spring turns into summer it becomes clear that someone is desperate to put her off the scent by frightening her to death...

Deepening the relationships between the main characters and fleshing out their personalities and back stories.

Having started with some of the later books, I've now noticed the books have been given an order number so, I'm listening to the earlier books in order. This has helped make sense of the relationship history of the main characters. As the author doesn't give details of what's happened in previous books, in the later ones.

This is the second Elly Griffiths book I have listened to on audible. The story is told well and the characters are credible. I find myself totally engrossed in the story and am especially taken with Dr Galloway and DCI Nelson, the two main characters. A well written and intelligent whodunnit
