Summary

Vampish is set within the world of Azar, along with (in listening order) Hitched, Darkblood Academy, Royally Hitched, Darkblood Prison, and Wolfish, but it's not necessary to listen to the other series first to enjoy this one.

The Hunt
This is the first book in the Vampish series. Nix is a baddie for sure. Even though her wolf has been dormant for most of her life, the one time it came about when she was young was phenomenal. She is the only known shifter to kill a vampire with one bite. When she was in her last assignment before she became a Royal Sicari warrior she ran into Ransom. When she met Ransom her wolf perked up for the first time in several years. She then was assigned her first undercover mission from the Queen. However, this mission is not going to be as easy as she expected. She is going to be in very close contact with Ransom. Things definitely don’t go as planned. I was not ready for that ending. This book ends on a huge cliffhanger. Jess Trepnier and Daryl Mayfield did an incredible job narrating this book.

Fangin fantastic
This was all sorts of supernatural black ops, power struggles, vengeance and possibly the worst betrayal of all.

Fangtastic
This story has it all; power struggle, vengeance, betrayal, a feisty kick ass FMC, a confident and flirtatious MMC and lots of sexual tension. No one can ask for more, right? In this case, it being an audio book, one could ask for great narration, which, hands down, Daryl Mayfield and Jess Trepanier did to a T. The duo really delivered, and made G. K. DeRosas wonderful story come to life perfectly

great story line excited for the next book!
As soon as I saw who wrote this I had to listen to it and I was not disappointed. Excellently paced, lots of sexual tension, and a plot line with characters so engaging I had a hard time making myself take breaks in order to adult.

I really liked the male narrator. The female was good, but I found mfc vocal was a bit whiney.
I love this authors story's, they're gripping, and I like tug of war between her love interests. However, I generally have this exact complaint with them all - the mfc's are whiney, stubborn, and self-righteous. It drives me potty, and it makes me dislike them so much.😔
Nix is a wolf whose parents are killed by vampires. She saves her little sister, changes into her at a really young age, and her wolfs bite kills a vampire! This is unheard of. It's supposed to be a fairytale.
She goes on to train to become a royal vampire sicari - a trained vampire killer. The vampire queen is their boss. Her wolf has never returned, so no one knows about her previous bite.
Then she meets her fated mate. Unfortunately, he's a vampire, so his wolf is dead!?
It's a good read and listen.📖🎧
