Worth & Sophia
When you know, you know. When Worth saw Sophia, he knew she was it for him. Sophia knew too.
Once in Vegas, they could not resist the pull they felt for each other and so a Vegas wedding happened.
Worth is careful, caring and the least spontaneous person; Sophia is witty and strong but has been dealt a blow that makes her question everything love related.
Worth and Sophia’s relationship evolves as the book develops but not always in a good way. This makes the book so realistic because no one is perfect and neither are relationships from the get go.
Samantha Brentmoor and Grayson Owens have totally nailed Sophia and Worth.

Acting at its finest, with a beautiful story.
🎧 I enjoy Ms. Bay's books so much. How the story is not only girl meets boy and HEA. they have their backstop, and issues to process without making the book too heavy. In think this is my favorite of the series so far.
🎧 A heroine with Ms. Brentmoor's voice, makes me like the character instantly because of the voice. Yes, I judge a book by the voice. But what she is giving me with all the other characters around the main one, is so good that my brain registers I am listening to a solo performance audio. There was a six person scene, such a delight. Sometimes I can't even tell it is her...
🎧 ... and then Worth chapters come up. I have been gushing about Mr. Owens acting before. It is so real. He unleashes the 'mine' vibes of Worth ravishingly. Again, I am mesmerized by how he changes characters seamlessly without so much change in his voice... I don't know how to explain it. I will embarrass myself now. He could just lower his voice saying 'my wife' and get the vibes out but he doesn't. He says it almost the same way he talks but I get the same vibes as a growl, without the growl. Honestly, I don't know how to explain it. It's mesmerizing to me. Top notch whisper game by the way. The man is purring. Not to start on accents from both of them.
🎧 Basically, audio goldness for my ears.

The Hero + Vegas = No Regrets (Book 3)
🎧📚Audio & eBook Review📚🎧
I read the ARC of this story from January 24-25, then I waited about 9 days and listened to the ALC. A 7(ish) hour audio is normally a one day thing for me as long as I begin in the afternoon, which I did, so I’ve had the time to process it all before today (release day). You know what I haven’t done enough in my audio era? Listen to more audiobooks narrated by Grayson Owens. #truth He did such an outstanding job bringing not just Worth to life for me but his performance with “other voices” was also outstanding! He’s very versatile and I would have him in my ears any time! Samantha Brentmoor can do no wrong in my ears (or at least she hasn’t yet) and she is welcome there any time, all the time! *heart eyes* These two together elevated this story, so if you’re an audio junkie like myself, you will not go wrong with this one! #trust
Okay, so about this story … What I’m about to point out may come across as if I didn’t like the story but that’s not what happened. I liked it but it has a major but whyyyyyyyyyy???? circumstance/plot point that just left me blinking a little bit. [CAUTION: SPOILER AHEAD]
Even though I can “understand” the motivation behind the third-act break-up and how it was necessary to impact Sophia and move her character forward and what was going on in her world with her father, I do not understand why what happened happened. I mean she breaks it off in one breath and the next she’s telling her friend “there are no issues between us” (meaning her and Worth). The break-up had nothing to do with her and Worth and everything to do with her and her father, and I just can’t wrap my head around what Bay was thinking when she wrote it. You wanna write a conflict such as this one, then maybe not have the mmc be like the best man to ever walk the earth? Hand to God kids, this guy is what my mom would call “salt of the earth”!! Not only was it completely off target to the trajectory of the story, but it “happened” at like 65% of the story and then it takes another 20% before she comes to her senses and it’s practically the end of the book. STOP IT! None of it was good and I’m just not used to this level of *blinking* when I read a Louise Bay story!
So, if we take out the extravagant shenanigan that passes for a “third-act break-up” in this story, this was an epic #swoonfest full of heart and laughter. Worth is one of the best main male characters that I have read in a while and Sophia was holding her own until … The story itself was written very well and unfolded in a way where you didn’t even think about the whole “insta” aspect of their connection! It was brilliant. But, sigh …
🎧 Audio – 5++ STARS
📚 Story – Unfortunately, it’s a 3.5 that I cannot justify rounding up to 4 STARS so 3 it is :(
✨The average, of course, puts my rating at 4 STARS because the audio performance was top-notch ++
