It can no longer be assumed that most people - or even most Christians - have a basic understanding of the Bible. Many don’t know the difference between the Old and New Testament, and even the more well-known biblical figures are often misunderstood. It is getting harder to talk about Jesus accurately and compellingly because listeners have no proper context with which to understand God’s story of redemption. Essential for new people finding their way...
Very accessible for new believers. It makes connections to old and new testaments and helps understanding. Funny in parts and well performed. I bought the paperback too as I would like to read along. Will definitely be reading again.

Excellent!
Narration was very good.
Really good book and very useful for new and seasoned believers. I have been a Christian for years and have read the Bible from cover to cover, and yet I found new insights in this book; which is why it's so valuable and well deserves a second read!

For any who have not extensively read the Bible
A really good book that gives good insight to various parts of the Bible, and did not seem to be biased to any one denomination, which is nice.
I at first thought this book was for absolute Bible beginners, but alas, it has a really beautiful way of connecting everything together in the Bible, which we sometimes don't think about.
All in all, I am really glad I purchased this book.
