About this listen
German Shepherds fall in the category of "herding group" and are working dogs that were originally developed with the intention for them to be guarding and also herding sheep. The military and police worldwide are known to frequently use these dogs because they are famous for obedience capabilities, intelligence and noteworthy strength.
The American Kennel Club has registered dogs, of which German Shepherds make up about 4.5% of the total. It has been said that it is because of their protective and exceptionally loyal nature why German Shepherds are breed of dogs that are most registered.
