I’ve read almost all of MC’s novels now. At first I thought it was bits & pieces of other titles but then you realise this has a completely different meaning. Absolutely brilliant writing, some really funny laugh out loud lines too which was a first for me in an MC novel.
The depth of each character, you went on a journey with each of them. Some shocking moments but probably up there with the Maura Ryan duo.

As with Martina Cole novels the book is a great audiobook to listen to however the ending although good is a bit hurried for all the groundwork that goes before even saying that its a great listen. Martina creates characters you love or hate in only a way that she can.

Great story with a happish ending. So glad my hubby doesn’t have a big barn !! Martina Cole is great and love the narration by Annie. As an old East Ender it’s all very authentic.
