Summary

Lutz and his companions have finally arrived at the eastern edge of the Orakian kingdom, just a few short days away from the elven lands. But he's not the only one who's made the trek east. Princess Lumina has deduced his destination and is hot on his trail.

However, there are other forces at play in the Far East, and Lutz finds himself dragged into the center of a storm that's secretly raging on Orakio's eastern border - one that could spell doom for the four races if left unchecked.

Soldiers, nobles, and even Princess Lumina herself have their eyes set on Lutz. Yet, there's another group whose actions threaten to undo all of their carefully laid plans - a fearsome clan that has invaded human lands to fulfill their own nefarious desires.

Getting slightly better as the story goes on

Story and voice actor are both getting better as the books go on. Hopefully book 4 will continue going up

Great!!!!👍👍👍👍

The third volume in the series and the story still keeps it up. There was more character development in this book as the MC moves on and learns what's happening with the other heros.
More skills and training as well along with a lot of fighting scenes.

dissatisfying conclusion to a major plot element

Minor Spoilers ahead, so we finally get the meeting between the Princess and the hero but it just makes me wonder why the hero even went through that whole torture section in book 1 I honestly thought that there would be a long time coming to terms with what was done to him, when the Princess basicly just walked up and says whoops I was wrong please come back and help save the people who are still hunting you because I have lots of self pity about summoning the other 3 bad heros also please forget how happy I was when I found out you were going to be killed slowly and he basicly instantly let's go of all his anger.
What was the point you could of just had him locked up and then escape and this would of all turned out the same the ptsd ot whatever only ever seems to be a plot point when the hero needs to do something stupid and the Princess is basicly brain-damaged if she thinks that just being nice to someone who was betrayed and tortured would work this whole thing comes across like the author needed to dial back the edge and add a harem member at the same time and its just disappointing
