Summary

The secrets of the tower will finally be revealed in the remarkable conclusion to the highly acclaimed Books of Babel series.

As Marat's siege engine bores through the Tower, Senlin can do nothing but observe the mayhem from inside the belly of the beast. Edith and her crew are forced to face Marat on unequal footing, with Senlin caught in the crossfire, while Adam attempts to unravel the mystery of his fame inside the crowning ringdom. And when the Brick Layer's true ambition is revealed, neither the Tower nor its inhabitants will ever be the same again.

Loss, grief and in mourning!

I finished the final book a week ago! It has taken me this long to come to terms with the end of this quartet, one I have been listening to and waiting for, for the last three years! The writing is sublime, the plot unexpected and the characters have become real! I couldn’t believe the narrator when the next words were ‘The End’ . I really did shout out ‘Noooo!’. Do I start trolling Mr Bancroft for another book? Or come to terms with this lot? All I can say is I felt real loss at the end. and I suppose that is a barometer of a good book or books! Read and enjoy! Everyone is a gem!

A strong end to a strong series

Excellent set of books, interesting characters and an enjoyably ordinary protagonist that we can all see a bit of ourselves in!

end of a great ride

what a great series of books and I honestly could not tell you which in the series was my favourite

the characters are so well fleshed out and drawn as well as the steam punk type backdrop of the world gets you conjuring so many images

but over all great story well worth the investment

Absolutely Incredible Series.

Absolutely incredible, one of the best series I've ever had the pleasure to read. What a trilling scintillating adventure Josiah Bancroft brings you on through the Tower Of Babel. The Books Of Babel will make you laugh, cry, tear your hair out with an anxiety because the love you have these characters as they are put through their nigtmares, trials and hardships they find themselves in that would drive anyone to the brink of despair. This series is truly amazing, while the worldbuilding for me was the best part of the series, the characters are fantastically written as well. This series includes some of the best character development and those beautiful prose are just exquisite, my two favourite characters where Byron and Reddleman. The cast of characters is an absolute treasure trove of quirky humour, courage, camaraderie and eccentric philosophical brilliance. The first book Senlin Ascends began wonderfully and got better and better as the story developed. In this last installment The Fall of Babel reaches its epic finale Thomas Senlin's adventure through the Ringdoms to find his wife has a new nemesis Luc Marat, a tyrant who he must battle for the heart, souls, the lives of his wife, freinds and future of the Tower. Will the Tower fall, for all fantasy fans I implore you to check out this beautifully written masterpiece. I promise you will be in for treat and therefore I very highly recommend....💙😁💥🔥
