Wow wow wow

This series just gets better and better. Book 3 and its already getting darker. No spoilers here. From the very start of the book it gripped me and it didn't let go until the very end. And what a cliff hanger it ended on. Damn you. I love that it still has an on going back story that unfolds a little bit at a time. This book answered 1 question from the last book, gave us an ending to another bit from the first book BUT it also gave more questions that went unanswered. Damn you again.
As you can tell, I thought the story was brilliant. Even for a teenager book, this had some adult scariness to it.
I love the reader. His voice acting is amazing. The different voices he uses for the characters is beyond great. I forgot about 1 character but as soon as I heard the voice, I knew who they were.
The sound effects that are used in this one was also brilliant. It really added that extra bit to the story. I have to admit that I got a little bit freaked out at one point as the voice change was so well done and scary. Well, it was dark, late and I was on y own that night when I heard that part of the story he he.
Anyway, I cant wait for the next book.....oh look, I've already downloaded it.
You will enjoy this one if you have heard the first 2 books. In fact, this is better than the first 2. This is a book that keeps you gripped till the very end and as I've said, it ends on a mother of all things brilliant cliffhanger that made me want even more.

Reignited interest in Series

Bought this for son who had enjoyed reading first, but drifted off half way through second book. He loved it and has now read the two subsequent books himself!

Once again, amazing!

As always I was hooked within the first few lines you really get to see the progress Valcarie is making as a detective and a partner. Major plot twists and an unreal cliffhanger! Would definitely recommend for everyone! We get to really see the different sides to some of our favourite characters thank you Mr. Landy
