A Must Listen for Growing Girls

I wish I had this audiobook when I was younger! It explains everything about puberty and periods in a way that actually makes sense no awkwardness, no confusing medical talk. It’s like having a big sister or mentor walk you through what to expect, how to handle changes, and feel confident about it all. I especially love how it covers both the physical and emotional sides. If you know a girl going through this stage, this is the perfect guide to help her feel prepared!

This book was really helpful for my daughter. It explains things in a way that is simple and easy to comprehend. She felt more confident after listening to it. It talks about periods, body changes, and feelings in a kind and positive way. I liked that it made her feel normal and not scared. I wish I had something like this when I was younger for the tips. Highly recommend for girls or parents of girls starting puberty.

At Last I was Something That Makes This Less Weird

I got this and we went through a few chapters . I decided it was good she actually opened up and asked questions, which never happens. It covers the stuff adults usually dance around, but in a way that’s honest and not scary. She said it made her feel more normal, which was the whole point. Honestly, even I learned a few things I wish I knew back then.

Empowering and Age-Appropriate

I listened to this with my preteen daughter, and it was such a helpful way to open up conversation. It covers everything clearly and respectfully—from body changes and emotional ups and downs to managing periods and self-esteem. The tone is friendly, not clinical, and it made my daughter feel seen and confident. Highly recommend for young girls and their caregivers.

Made It Way Less Awkward

If you’re trying to help your daughter feel more comfortable with all the weird and new stuff happening to her body, this book is a solid pick. It keeps things real without being too heavy or overwhelming. What I liked best is the way it explains everything clearly without sounding like a science class or a lecture. Plus, it touches on emotional stuff in a way that feels supportive. Definitely worth having on the shelf before those big changes kick in.

Helping my daughter through her next life stage

I struggle with talking about some things, and this is one of them. I found this wonderful guide that my daughter and I could listen to together and answer all her questions. She now feels like she is normal and knows all women go through this. Learning about her body and the changes that are happening has helped her anxiety and stress. Great book; I wish I had it when I was a tween.

It reassures girls that everything is normal and gives them advice on how to take care of themselves. Wish I Had This Growing Up

I got this for my niece who’s just starting to go through these changes, and it was honestly such a great find. We listened to parts of it in the car while I was driving her to a friend’s house, and it opened the door for conversations that would’ve been awkward otherwise. It explains everything clearly without talking down to her or making it weird. She told me it made her feel a lot less nervous. I even learned a few things myself! Every young girl should have something like this.
