Beautiful Summer Escapism!
Absolutely loved this and was very sad to finish it. A lovely story to lose yourself in over the summer. I've loved every book by Hilary Boyd and this is up there with the best and I look forward to the next one

Excellent
As usual from Hilary Boyd, a great story and satisfying plot
Well performed by Catherine Bailey.
It is always good to know that this author can write from an older person's point of view, we have feelings too! The characters are well-drawn and believable, that's for sure.
I have a long wait until Hilary Boyd's next book, but it is always worth the wait!

Very Disappointing
I usually love Hilary Boyd books and look forward to hearing them. This however is very twee and predictable. More suited to a Mills & Boon type story. I was bored and very irritated with the heroine who miraculously inherits a cottage just at the right time, makes wonderful friends who are there at the drop of a hat and of course the proverbial love interest.
