Wow! This audiobook does an outstanding job of "painting the picture" of 15 different wondrous road trips in the US and inspires a deep longing to experience these adventures.

What sets the book apart besides the obvious passion of the author is its brilliant and beautiful descriptions of multiple road trips ranging from the gorgeous Pacific Coast to the American Southwest and the Great Smoky Mountains and the Shenandoah National Park.

Personally I enjoyed the description of the Shenandoah National Park the most. Whether you're an experienced traveler or a travel newbie in the US, this book is a treasure which can guide you on your journey. Highly Recommend!

This is a fun book for the wondering motorist. It includes various stops that have to be taken would be very memorable. The first listed trip is the one that i seek to take... The pacific coast highway drive! The book does a good job of describing things that must be seen along the listed trips. I can't wait to visit the Appalachians!

This had me RIGHT from the start! I so related with the author’s feeling of “stuck” that he was in… year after year, letting fear have the steering wheel. But I have a hunger for travel and seeing the world, and so does my family. This is a fantastic listen for getting you inspired again to hit that open road.

Not only is it filled with tips and tricks about specific places, but also about road tripping in general! What do you need to pack? Such good info. Would highly recommend for the traveler at heart.

I am a seasoned traveler as I prefer to drive rather than fly. I love books like this as there is so much I probably have never heard of or would ever see if not for books like these. This book will certainly enhance your next road trip through exhilarating journeys through some of America's most iconic routes, such as the Pacific Coast Highway or training the steps of the pre-US highway routes which are filled with so much cultural history. I have done a few road trips that we stayed off the main interstates and if you can, that is the way to travel as there is so much off the beaten path.

This book is about reaching your destination and enhancing your experiences along the way. The book has some awesome anecdotes which keeps things interesting. Highly recommend this book for those that enjoy traveling and want to keep things interesting and exciting.
