Summary

Hannah Swan is looking forward to Christmas for the first time in years. Her new job as an eco-consultant is taking her - and her geeky colleague, Noah - to the beautiful Cornish village of Porthgolow for the first time.

They’re are helping the Crystal Waters Hotel to ramp up its green credentials, though after a bumpy journey, Hannah can’t shake off the feeling that Porthgolow is strangely familiar. Never able to resist a mystery, her interest is piqued when the hotel’s staff and customers report odd noises and sightings, believing the hotel to be haunted.

When bad weather cuts off Porthgolow, Hannah and Noah are looking at a Cornish Christmas. It gives them plenty of time to work out what is really going on, but will their yuletide escape send shivers up their spines? Or will it be as warm and toasty as a glass of mulled wine?

Enjoyable light read.

I have enjoyed all of the books in this series so far and this one did not disappoint. The characters are engaging, the narrator has a lively voice and differentiates the characters well. If only real life was as lovely and kind as it is in this cornish town!

Pretty sure that I am not the target audience...

Although I am a 55 year old male, who usually enjoys detective novels and Non fiction. I have found this series a really nice escape from the current horrible state the world is in. Really good use of language and uplifting entwined stories. I hope it will continue.

A fitting end to the trilogy

I may have enjoyed this book more than the first two!
The story, narration and narrative were all spot-on and fizzingly Christmassy and festive.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this story and on the whole the entire book series has been a delight.

heartwarming story

I'm not what you would expect a listener of the series to be a 40 year old man, but I love the series. This truly beautiful cornish town, I wish I could visit for real with its amazing scenery and character's.

The Cornish cream tea bus

Loved this glorious and magical trilogy. We are in a dark place at the moment and as soon as I pick up the books it takes me into another bright and happy world. I do hope there will be a follow-up I need to know what happens to Hannah‘s mum and Hugh and Charlie and Daniel’s wedding :-)I cannot begin to tell you how I

Cornish comfort

I just cannot resist these stories. Sometimes you just need to read something with a heartwarming finish but until you get there you’re anxious about the turnout but that the story winds around little sub plots with interesting goings on. Loved the ghost part of this , the wonderful descriptions of food, feelings and love!
