Summary
Mankind's outer colonies are disappearing. Without warning. Without a trace. Fleet command chalks the attacks up to pirates, but Captain Dryker of the UFC Johnston isn't buying it.
Defying command, he leads his misfit crew into hostile territory in search of answers. They encounter the mythical Void Wraith, an unstoppable legend whispered by the first race. After 26,000 years, the Void Wraith have returned to begin the next Eradication. Their technology is superior, their motives unclear.
Humanity cannot stop them. Not without help. Captain Dryker's only hope is to forge an alliance with mankind's greatest enemy, the savage Tigris.
One maverick captain, an unlikely crew, and an aging vessel are all that stand between humanity and the Eradication.
"It's like Battlestar Galactica and Mass Effect had a baby, and that baby was raised by StarCraft. I read this book in one sitting and immediately looked for the next." (The author's totally biased friend)

As normal...
Just totally brilliant and enthralling , getting wrapped up in all the Characters as the stories climax.

Sort of ok
Kept me interested but not a great scifi book still worth a read, a bit lacking in real science.. Not often I rate 2 for story but 4 overall

Gripping adventure
Excellent first book in thri trilogy, with constant adventure and fast paced twists and turns in a well devised plot.

very enjoyable listen
What made the experience of listening to The Complete Void Wraith Trilogy the most enjoyable?
the whole series is fantastic, from the characters & attention
What other book might you compare The Complete Void Wraith Trilogy to, and why?
has to be the Ganog Wars, same author & narrator & is infact the next story leading on from the void wraith story this in turn will lead on to what I assume will be a final trilogy against the nameless ones.
Any additional comments?
Chris Fox's style of story telling & Burkes narration is a winning duo for me, the last 14 books I have listened to have been Fox & Burke combinations between the deathless, project solaris, void wraith & Ganog Wars series each book i have enjoyed & has left me wanting to dive right into the next one.
I love the "previously on" section at the start of the books where the previous book is recapped in a funny tv style & have found myself suddenly tittering with laughter to the surprise of people standing next to me at checkouts or while walking the dogs.
if you haven't already done so you should check his other books.

Solid series
If you liked mass effect, then you should enjoy this.
And to get the 3 books in one is a great idea.

Rambling nonsense.
Three books where one would have done, just witters on all the time about inane stuff and constantly repeats events from different characters viewpoints.
You'll find yourself skipping all the time. Really needs some serious editing.
Bonkers story that makes battlefield earth look almost sane.
Definitely among one of the worst books I've read,.
