I really enjoyed the story and thought it was well written. I feel the narration would have been greatly improved if it had been Lori Prince or Lula Larkin . I feel their narration styles would have brought the characters to life more fully.

Perhaps because of some of the plot devices plus the writing and narration styles meant the story, apart from the emotional abuse, did not ring true for me. I never felt really engaged by the characters or felt that bit of a spark a good romantic story has. Maybe reading the book would be better, because the narration is not great, but imo it would be better overall cut to 2/3 in length by some tough editing and the pace of the narration speeded up.

It fell a bit flat for me...

Really well performed by both actresses and I’m so glad we got a dual POV of a fake dating but fall for the sister trope, as it really flips it on its head! Super great.

I really enjoyed this - definitely worth a credit! Not too heavy whilst dealing with some serious issues. Narrated very well allowing the reader to invest in the characters.

A very cutesy Christmas story with a wrapped in a bow ending. I liked Margo's narrator but not Ellie's so much. At times it felt more like reading than acting. Otherwise fun and enjoyable.
