Summary

Jasper may be Gracie Island’s new Chief, but to Poppie, he’ll always be her tall sexy Deputy.

Jasper’s new duties keep him busy, as he trains a new deputy and deals with the usual small-town mischief. When Poppie surprises him with her return to the island, he’s excited to share the Fourth of July celebration with her. chief

I enjoyed the narration of John Walker

Master has become Chief after his father retired and married his mother again. He and Poppies were getting along great until. She received a snake bite and he becomes afraid again to lose another love one. They both still love each other very much and were able to overcome their fears.
