While not suitable for very young children due to the threat and violence mentioned later in the book, this wonderful tale details two children, 12 & 14, in their epic journey to free their beloved country from an evil tyrant. Strong characters, strong morales, thrills, tears and cheers, this book really entranced me and my young son, we wholly recommend it.

I loved the way that the book wasn’t all sunshine and butterflies.
It was more realistic ( except the magic book ofc ).
A had to hold my breath a few times but it was nice to not know what was going to happen.
