- Friendly neighbors who are always there for each other
- A Southern small town where great things happen to good people
Ruby Butterman and her husband, Peanut, cannot have children, but they're given a second chance at a family when eight-year-old orphan Carlie is left in their care. Awesome Last book of the series 👍📖👍
Last book in the Blessings, Georgia series. At times this book was very sad, and at others happier. Ruby & Peanut had their storyline in book five of the series, as well as both appearing throughout the series. This last book has two storylines running through, Ruby being named guardian of Carlie, and two former friends reuniting.
Carlie is left an orphan, and the storyline runs through how she overcomes that and, in doing so, finds her way in life as a young child. An excellent storyline, and last book of this series. It’s definitely a series I will continue to re-read 👍📖👍. Highly recommended, although each book of the series can be read as stand alone books.
