About this listen
This is the story of a drug deal gone bad.
Having committed the crime of selling a potent poison to a desperate youth, a destitute apothecary must decide how to spend his ill-gained fortune. Resolving to start his career afresh, he flees to the city of Verona to set up a new shop of medicinal healing and alchemical discovery.
Plans go awry when he finds himself in the middle of a woeful tragedy he had unwittingly helped to cause. Can his knowledge of nature's secrets and the inspiration of a fairy queen help restore the six lives lost? Will his exploits go undetected by a hellbent inquisitor and a noble assassin? Or was the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet only the beginning of Verona's doom?
This sick-minded sequel is both travesty and tribute to Shakespeare's classic play. New characters are introduced as old ones are reenvisioned in a madcap escapade of murder, magic, mystery, man eating, and malicious mayhem. No flesh is safe from the eerie evil hidden in the minds of men, not even the flesh of the dead....

Lets face it with copyright on his story given direct fro Shakespeare himself, via Ouija board,
I think this fantasy story taking root from the remains of the day of Romeo and Juliet, has superbly written and feel horrid my humble review, would make the main man turn in his grave to my words.
The narration brought this world of words come so fluently that I became enclosed in its glory. (upsetting the wife a few times forgetting I had earphones on, and perhaps saying more than I should as my Yorkshire accent does not bode well with such rich dialect. ) Jim.
How DARE you make me Love Romeo and Juliet.

The story is a really great idea. Being honest I can remember the rough outline of Romeo and Juliet but not the finer details so I don't know if I missed out on any jokes or references in that regard. Having said that it didn't dull my enjoyment at all. I really liked it. It's a bit quirky and a little weird and a lot entertaining and a huge dollop of B movie in there (listen to it and you'll find out what I mean). I'm never going to look at my cat the same again!!!!
Original story idea, brilliant narrator
