15 not 17

The narration is flawless. My only complaint is that the collection is advertised as containing 17 stories, but when the book was added to my library that number had been reduced to 15.

Robert Hardy is perfection

Robert Hardy is perfection, as always.
However, the stories are each interrupted by two ‘chapters’ spoken by someone else - utterly unnecessary “That was....produced by.....read by....written by....”, followed by the introduction to the next story. Hardy himself introduces each story so this is totally pointless self-promotion on the publisher’s part. It interrupts the flow & disrupts Hardy’s ability to transport us into Holmesian London. Removing those ridiculous snippets would hugely improve this audiobook!
