Lovely
I Loved the characters and story which drveloped well. i liked that the happy ever after was tested and worked through. I feel it ended abruptly though.
I would definitely listen to more from both the author and narrators.

Great realistic romance.. a must read!
Lately I've been immersed in dark romance so this was a refreshing change, like a glass of water after a night of heavy drinking. Both have their place in my reading repertoire. I always appreciate this author's writing style. I believe in the characters and invest emotions in what they're going through. I was completely captivated by the storyline, the plot was believable and although the chemistry between Gwen and Eli was a slow burner, it made it all the more compelling. I had to deduct a star because of the ending, it wasn't the HEA I was expecting. I guess that was a common theme throughout the book, it was more realistic.. but who wants that in their romance?! We have real life for that!
Overall a fantastic heart warming, funny romance.. well worth reading.

Simple and Realistic
This is a slow-paced, intricate, intimate and realistic love story. It doesn't rush into anything, including the fact that they don't particularly like each other initially, when you kind of think - having read the blurb - that they will. That makes this book so realistic so intriguing and so enjoyable. It wouldn't be a J. J. book without a plot twist, and of course, you don't see it coming! You really don't!
This is another wonderful book. It's a standalone, but if she ever wrote a sequel I'd get it in a heartbeat. Enjoy!

Disappointing
This book seemed like a 3 star story for most of it. An alright, albeit entirely forgettable, romance story. However, what was going on with that ending?!?!!! That brought it down a star with a bang. It’s like the author crammed what should have been a whole book into the last hour and you are left feeling completely dissatisfied and with so many questions. Definitely not a ‘happy ever after’, but it’s barely even a ‘happy for now’. There should be a few chapters at least after that point to tie it up. I don’t think it’s part of a series but it feels like it must be because it makes no sense for it to be like that. Maybe the series will continue following other characters and you’ll find out what these guys are up to.
