I struggled to begin with but as I started reading more it told the story of a mother and sister relationship as well as her missing daughter. very realistic and believable. if this is the first novel you have read of Lisa's you should read the other three too. Brilliant writer and story teller.

Taken is a great book of some twists and turns that make you think you know who did it but all is revealed and you will be surprised. Fantastically written . Superb book to listen to . As is all of Lisa stone and cathy glass books. Give them a go. You will not be disappointed

Exciting read right until the end!

This has potential to be a good story, but as it went on, it seemed to be unrealistic.
The narrater didn't quite get the characters right for me, and it did spoil it slightly. The mother in this story was the quickest addict ever to recover with no support, and the child sounded as if she was an adult in the way she was spoken not 8 years old!
I listened to the end, but felt it tailed off half way through

This book was fantastic, I’m usually a Cathy Glass kind of girl but thought I’d give this a go and I’m so glad I did. I was stuck to the book from start to finish, defo worth a read.
