About this listen
He knows what I need even when I'm too shy to ask for it. That's why I call him daddy.
Kieran Murphy is an Irish mob boss and one of the most powerful men in Boston. When he walks me home, people step aside out of respect for him. He could have any woman he wants. So why does he have eyes only for me?
Is it how he has to lift my chin with his fingers to keep my eyes level with his when he scolds me and how I cover my bottom instinctively when he tells me that I've earned a spanking? Or is it how I quiver at the thought of everything I'm too ashamed to beg him to do to me and how hard I come for him when he does all of it and more without me even having to ask?
Maybe it's all of those, but I'm pretty sure there's something else too. I think he loves how I blush when he makes me call him daddy.
Take Me, Daddy is a standalone novel and the first book in the Boston Kings series. It includes spankings and rough, intense sexual scenes.

Good story but

Leah gets slapped in the face by her ex and cries nonstop. Kieron beats her with his belt on her arse and thighs and slaps her arse till it's red and very sore and this turns her on….. Really?? Also, I got fed up with Leah leaving her 3-year-old home alone every evening to work two blocks away in a bar. Having a baby monitor doesn't justify this neglect. The sex scenes were bloody awful and I'm now a firm hater of the Daddy kink. Unprotected sex with no conversation about contraception. These characters have no substance. I'm not continuing the series. Leah is so thirsty for cock she neglects her little one.
I love dark and delicious stories and this fell short.
Not my cup of tea

This was a painful read, and not in the fun, kinky way the blurb tries to sell.
Let’s start with the narration: an accent that can’t decide whether it’s Irish or Welsh, and fails at both. It’s jarring, inconsistent, and genuinely off-putting. Think a bad leprechaun impression mixed with fireman Sam.
Leah The female main character? She doesn’t need a Dom, she needs a therapist. Her behaviour screams unresolved trauma, not submission. The male lead Kieran is controlling in a way that isn’t remotely safe, sane, or consensual, this is trauma bonding, not romance.
The writing itself reads like it was done for a GCSE assignment. It's flat, rushed, sloppy and clearly written by someone who doesn’t understand the difference between BDSM and abuse. Spoiler alert: there’s this little concept called consent, and it’s completely missing here. On multiple occasions!
This isn’t Daddy/little dynamic, it’s coercion packaged with a bow and labelled “kink.” If you hated 50 Shades, avoid this like the plague. If you liked 50 Shades… this is somehow worse.
I’m honestly just relieved I didn’t pay for it.
DNF’d. Less than One star. Seriously do better. People will read this and think this is what BDSM is.
just don't listen
