it's a long time since I devoured a book in one sitting, but this book had me from the start. The narrator had a great voice which wasn't overbearing.
The story had all kinds of characters in it and Malta sounds amazing.
Another winning book by Sue Moorcroft.

Another great book from Sue Moorcroft. The only reason it took so long to read, is because I have kids!

Rosa takes a summer vacation to join her mother, Dory in Malta, in the hopes of getting over her divorce. With no intention of finding love, she meets Zach, who also lives in the building. He too, has no intention of meeting anyone new, but fate has other ideas. After Rosa’s mother sets them up on a ‘not date’, Rosa wonders whether she is ready to accept love again.

With the images of Malta and the love of families on both sides, this book kept me smiling throughout.

And of course, I recommend, for a relaxing, guilty pleasure read of romance and sunshine.

Loved the book! Loved all the characters. I think the narrator was excellent with the different voices. The descriptions of the places they visited in Malta made me want to go back again after 30yrs! I found myself going onto Google Maps and visiting the places Sue talked about. Highly recommended 5☆

I loved this audiobook. the author is great at writing characters that you feel are real people and aren't 2- dimensional. I really felt like I was on Malta with them.

The story was well read by the narrator and they were great with different voices for the different characters. I could always recognise which character was talking.

I’ve listened to about 8 Sue Moorcroft books now. For me, she’s hit and miss. Some books I love loads, others I can’t get into. This was one of the latter.

I gave up several chapters in as I couldn’t get into it, I kept losing track of who was who and what was going on, I found the storyline uninteresting, and the narrator was too rushed and her timing was off.

After reading several good reviews, I bought this book for my mum, who enjoys a light and easy read. However, she's been quite unenthralled by this story. She started the book several times but couldn't get the gist of the story. She also found the narrator read the book too quickly. Overall, disappointing and will be returned, unfinished.
