Tess has always tried to be a good mother. Of course, there are things she wishes she’d done differently, but doesn’t everyone feel that way?
Then Emma, her youngest, is attacked on her way home from a party, plunging them into a living nightmare which only gets worse when the man responsible is set free
But what if she fails?
So when Tess sees the attacker in the street near their home, she is forced to take matters into her own hands. But blinded by her need to protect her daughter at any cost, might she end up putting her family in even greater danger?
There’s nothing she wouldn’t do to make it right . . .

Not great
Not great, not a gripping story, not very believable and the narration is not great either....miss pronounced words.

Great listen highly recommend
I loved this book it was my first by this author and I have now downloaded more of hers. This was a clever well-delivered story with good solid characters who were totally relateable too. It was also set in the area of North London in which I live so I could envisage where different situations were played out. This book had a really clever twist although I had suspicions from early on that did not matter in fact I think that was probably meant to be. I enjoyed the narrators who did a good of bringing the characters to life.

Protection or Obession
A deeply dark tale of how far a mother's love goes to protect the ones you love.
Dreary and tiresome in places with a diatribe of a obessive ramblings from an out of touch mother.
Good twist and an interesting read overall.
