About this listen
An insanely fast-paced psychological thriller with a killer hook, from the international bestseller and master of terror, Sebastian Fitzek. The Clinic is a world leader in memory research, they say they can permanently erase your traumatic memories, leaving you free to start a new life. Marc Lucas killed his pregnant wife in a car crash. He carries the memory of her death with him everywhere - a splinter of glass stuck in his neck. His life is a nightmare from which he can't wake. Should he visit the clinic? Or has he been there already? The problem is, he can't remember....

If you could sum up Splinter in three words, what would they be?
Engaging, Irritating, Engaging.....repeatIf you’ve listened to books by Sebastian Fitzek before, how does this one compare?
Not of the same quality. His recent works, the Child and AMOK were both 5 Star. This earlier book, purchased on the high standard of the aforementioned, left me somewhat disappointed. Don't get me wrong it's good, but when you've tasted fillet, the rump just gives youth hump.....Which scene did you most enjoy?
Nothing stands out. There were so many scenes with the main character being tormented by ever changing possible outcomes to his living hell e.g. whether his supporting characters were 'good guys' or 'bad guys'. In the end you just got irritated by far too many unnecessary twists. If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Planted Amnesia....., a film you may want to forgetAny additional comments?
You might love it, plenty did. Hope you're not disappointed has I was.Good, but far too drawn out to be a Fitzek Classic
