“We were struggling to craft our message and having the know-how on reaching our ideal customers on social media. After putting into practice the concepts shared in this book, we’re seeing instant results from our online marketing efforts!! Thank you, Ngalinda.” (John O’Dwyer, small business owner)
(Also a great short refresher course for those in the industry).
For me, one of the most important lessons, is on giveaways and why it is important to offer, either your service/ product or something related to your service/product as a giveaway.
So often I have seen companies advertise giveaways of iPad's etc. and they have nothing to do with the company, which results in a random list being built due to shareability and in turn, no progress is being made on your marketing plan due to a poor quality list, which is full of effectively cold leads. It's nonsensical.
They would be better off just using an interest targeting than running a non related giveaway.
Your product/service is your most valuable asset, use it in your giveaways.
The book was a great refresher course for me, to remember where my focus needs to be, when creating my marketing plans.
Great Starting Point and Refresher on Marketing
