Really enjoyable read. This is a crime story with a twist. I finished it in 2 days as couldn't put it down. Would recommend!!

Jade Monroe has newly joined an FBI team specialising in serial killers, she had previously worked for the police.

I found her character to be a bit annoying, she waltzes into a new team and immediately starts throwing her weight around, although admittedly her reasoning was correct, but her way of presenting her theory was less than polite. She then decides to go off on her own, despite being part of a team and finds herself in dire danger, but doesn't get any reprimand from her superiors.

The story line was original and included lots of twists and turns and some genuinely exciting passages. Unfortunately however I found the narration to rather spoil the effect, although the narrator did use different voices for different characters, there was no emotion in the narration, the exciting passages are read in exactly the same tone as more mundane passages. The whole performance could be someone reading a series of recipes for all the emotion there was in it.

This is a real shame as it really spoiled a good story for me.

This was my first exposure to this author and narrator and I really enjoyed it. The plot was a standard police procedural with a few plot twists to make it interesting and the narration really suited it.

A captivating thriller, with many twists and turn. Right from the start we have first row seats on the killers actions and are involved in solving the mystery of why this person snapped along with newly appointed FBI agent, Jade Monroe.
A good audio performance by the narrator, with many different voices.

I loved the narration of Meghan Kelly.

Jade is a new FBI agent with a law enforcement background. Jade finds herself over her head and the FBI . The killer has the FBI casing their tail. Jade gets captured. I did find myself shouting at Jade…

Twists that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
