About this listen
The conclusion of Tad Williams' brilliant Bobby Dollar series.
Bobby Dollar thinks he's seen it all - after all, he's been to Hell and back again. Literally. But he has another thing coming.
Sleeping Late on Judgement Day will find Bobby back in his adopted hometown of San Judas, California, trying to stay out of trouble...and failing. His love life is still a mess, there are one too many people who have it out for him, and drowning his sorrows in a nice glass of whisky won't keep the demons at bay forever.
Bobby's going to have to pull himself together and make a few tough decisions before time runs out. The problem is, time could run out at any moment.
In the final Bobby Dollar novel in Tad Williams' groundbreaking epic fantasy trilogy, fallen angel Bobby Dollar will finally be forced to confront the one problem he can't talk his way out of: his own.

Fulfilling. What aspect of Tim Flavin’s performance might you have changed?
His characterisations are not secure. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
NoAny additional comments?
This part of the Trilogy rescued the poorness of the second book but not to any great extent. The Series is very much a Curate's Egg:

loved this book; really good to listen to and engaging all of the way through - Angel doloriel leads such as interesting lifeWhat did you like best about this story?
really good to hear a story written in the first person and doloriel - bobby dollar - is such an interesting and well rounded character in a story rich in detail and twisting plots. one of Tad williams finestWhat does Tim Flavin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
tim brought all of the characters to life and filled out the story and this made me listen to every word instead of skipping any bits. i particularly liked his calrence voicesAny additional comments?

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
The story is good.Who was your favorite character and why?
Bobby Dollar HimselfHow could the performance have been better?
Tim Flavin is just not able to do these books justice. The first book in the Bobby Dollar set was narrated by a guy name Joe May and he was really good and they should have stuck with him.Was Sleeping Late on Judgement Day worth the listening time?
I think I would buy the print or kindle version because yeah Tim Flavin really is that bad.Tim Flavin ruins Bobby Dollar Again

the characters were very imaginative and the narrators vocal characterizations were right on the money except for book 3 but by then you're so wrapped up in the story your imagination takes over well done Tad Williams you have some imagination BTW this is my second time reading this series I probably will read it next year again
Got so lost I couldn't stop reading

Would you try another book written by Tad Williams or narrated by Tim Flavin?
Tim Flavin is the wrong guy for this book. Story was good but narration spoiled it for me.How could the performance have been better?
Another narrator please !Narration is terrible
