Loved this book. Jill is a brilliantly strong and funny character and Slade is a strong, silent type... or is he?? This is a really great love story that doesn't follow the norm. Can Slade handle a strong women like Jill? Is a new 'boss' what Jill needs? You will not be disappointed

Jill Nichols is one of my favourite characters in this series; she's smart, witty and has plenty of gumption and I've been waiting for her book since she joined the series back in Jared. The Slade/Jill romance thing has been building since he was introduced in Duncan and at I loved that we finally got to find out what Dr Slade Buchanan was really thinking behind that perpetual growl of his.

Jeffrey Kafer's performance, is once again amazing: he IS the voice of the VC Warriors. His performance embodies the strength, power and "alpha-ness" of the male characters and although he doesn't change his voice dramatically for each character (male or female) the subtle variations to pace and tone certainly transport me into each and every scene.

I loved this story: it's one of my favourites!

The Slade Train! this is one of my favourites out of the series and I'm so happy it's finally on Audible.
Jill and Slade are a couple not to be messed with. this book has everything! I love Jill, have done since Jared, it's wonderful to see her come into her own where as before she was very timid. Again awesome job on the narration, Jeffrey Kafer has a voice that I could listen to again and again, which is good considering I have these book on repeat all the time. Can not wait for the rest to be out on Audible! Teresa Gabelman, you rock!!
