About this listen
Now a top 20 Amazon best seller!
My fiancé’s nephew knows every sin I’ve ever committed. He’s about to become the deepest and darkest of them all.
My name is Rory Carter and I do bad things. There’s a charred soul under this angelic exterior and sometimes, I wonder if my weekly confessions to the Sinners Anonymous hotline will be enough to heal it.
Marrying the 70-something head of the Cosa Nostra to save my father is the only good deed I’ve ever done. I’m burning and bitter under the fake smile and tight dresses, but I was keeping it together.
Was. Until my fiancé’s nephew turns up to dinner uninvited.
Angelo "Vicious" Visconti. A beautiful monster with cheekbones as sharp as his tongue. They say I shouldn’t be scared of him, because nine years ago, he went straight. He’s barely a Made Man anymore.
But I say, he’s the most dangerous Visconti of all. It’s not just because his cold sneer makes my pulse flutter. Or the way his syrupy drawl trickles down my spine. No. He holds all of my sins in his big, rough hands. And the only sins darker than mine are his own.
Dark mafia romance, forbidden love, age gap, enemies to lovers.
***
Somme’s notes:
Sinners Anonymous is a deliciously dark, enemies to lovers mafia romance. It can be listened to as a stand-alone but believe me, you'll want to devour it with the rest of the trilogy!
You should know that I write dark romance, and my stories—including this one—aren’t for the faint of heart. They contain several triggers and are somewhat disturbing, so aren't suitable for everyone.
You won’t find Prince Charming or a damsel in distress within this audiobook, so if that’s what floats your boat, I kindly encourage you to move along!

Great book, even better audiobook
I read this book last year and wanted to read it again but with my tbr list being over 100 books long I knew I wouldn’t have the time so decided to listen to the audiobook and I’m so glad I did! It’s such a great book and the audio is even better!

4 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
Narrators 5💫💫💫💫💫
Angelo is a total Alpha , possessive and just swoon worthy.
Rory was sweet & headstrong.
the story was good but i felt like a carrot was being dangled in front of me the whole time from start of the book to about 95% mark. I kid you not ... the author just kept teasing us the whole book...
Angelo " Vicious" & Rory"Aurora" were just perfect for each other. And they could have been epic & while i enjoyed their time together nothing happened between them until the very very end. and even then the fire works were not enough whilst some may enjoy this style of writing i certainly do not. i felt cheated & i really expected more intimate scenes considering its a Mafia book. having said that the author did make me believe in their love . im not sure if i will buy the other books in this series but i really want to know more about Rory & Vicious' lives because they got together at the very end we didnt see them together as a couple for long.. if author ever gives them another book i will definitely read it just because i love them.
loved the brothers Rafe & Gabe and the Guy who gave Rory the car in the end ..i forgot his name but im intrigued
im confused as to why Rory & Angelo didnt get a duet because the brothers books are duets?
its hard for me to rate this book... because the characters were great 5 🌟 but the whole book lacked "couple" time and that annoyed me so 3 ✨️ is more appropriate if one is looking for spice🌶 as well as a good story.

Loved it
A good story, quite original for a mafia-story I think. The narrators were perfection, I don't have a single bad thing to say about either of them.

enjoyable experience
this was great! my only criticism would be Rory spoke really slow and that's not how I imagined she would speak. Angelo sounded like an old man when he was only 36 lol

A dark, immersive experience
I read sinners anonymous about a week ago for the first time. Devoured the whole series in about 2 days. So, naturally, when this audio book was announced I was ecstatic. The casting was incredible, Alan and Lee embodied the roles of Angelo and Rory perfectly.
For lovers of dark romance, forbidden romance, enemies to lovers and slow burn/tension. The world building is fantastic, plenty of backstory and side characters that readers come to care for.
Cannot recommend this series enough.

Far to slow for me.
This is far too descriptive for me, which makes it a slow read. it's different, but could be more.
Narrators are brilliant.

Enjoyable read
After a string of crappy reads so far this month this was a breath of fresh air. It was just a fun time and I really enjoyed this read.
Aurora or Rory as she prefers to be known has found herself entangled within the Visconti crime family in her albeit nieve attempts to keep her father safe. In the run up to her contracted wedding to one of the families ageing Capo's she meets Angelo "Vicious" Visconti one of said Capo's nephews who turned his back on running his side of the outfit after his parents deaths almost a decade ago, he was a goner for Rory the moment he met her it just took him a while to catch on, the way he hated the way he was feeling towards her was delicious and the tension between these two was palpable throughout and slowly built as the story went along.
This was a rare occasion where I found myself as invested in the Mafia side plot as I was the romance and I thought the author did a really good job of setting the scene throughout. Was Rory at times completely nieve and juvenile? Yes, but she is 21 so it was inline with that to an extent. The tension and build up to the spice I ate up however when we finally reached that combustible moment it somewhat fizzled out a bit for me, it was still good but it didn't hit quite how I expected it to. I adored Angelos character and Rory was good but more could have been done with her I think. Now Angelos brothers Rafe with his whole "I'm a nice guy but I dare you to mess with me" vibe & Gabe hasn't said more than a handful of sentences yet I am intrigued as hell for his story.
Is this the most intricately detailed and realistic story I've ever read? No. We're parts of it repetitive? Yes. Was Rory using bird puns instead of swearing ridiculous? Yep.
But was I throughly entertained and did I enjoy the heck out of myself reading this? Absolutely! I've had this sitting on my goodreads tbr since 2021 and I'm a smidge annoyed at my mood reading self for taking so long to pick it up. I thought both Lee Daniels and Alan Carlson were great and I thouroughly enjoyed their performances. I will definitely be adding the next books in this series to my tbr/tbl. 🌶🌶🌶

It's a good listen, enjoyed it
The story was intreresting, I liked it. I was kinda disapointed that the rest of the books are not on audible yet, although the paperbacks are out, but then I read it's about one of Angelo's brothers as a center character and not Rory and Angelo kinda made it easier for me to wait until they ate on audio.
