About this listen
Some people are just meant to be single all the way…right?
Emerson
Being a widow and a single mom wasn’t part of my plan. But here I am.
I suppose I should consider myself lucky Ben offered us a place to stay. Without him, who knows where we would’ve ended up.
Now all I have to do is figure out how to ignore the way my entirely too sexy new roommate sometimes looks at me… and the way those looks make me feel…
Ben
I loved Emerson first. But that didn’t matter once she fell for my best friend.
So, I moved on. And I was happy. For a while, at least.
Now, I’m a busy single dad who just asked a woman who’ll never be mine to move in with me.
I’ve always been good at hiding my feelings for Emerson. But something tells me I’m about to get even better…

Wonderful narration! Stephanie and Patrick are delightful together and have complementary styles that flow well. Very similar pacing and well balanced range in voices and emotional performances. Overall this was a good holiday story that gave very Hallmark-esq warm feelings of love and hope.
3.5/5 story, 4/5 narration
Cozy, small town holiday comfort

Single All the Way finds two former best friends slowing falling in love, a love that was blooming for quite a while. Ben and his kids provide Emerson and her kids the home they deserve, and the love that Emerson has craved. Ben and Emerson not only heal each others souls, but they provide such a wonderful instant family and truly care for and nurture each other and each others children like their own. My heart was so full after this feel-good romance.
Patrick Zeller and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker narrated with so much emotion, and so much heart. It really was a treat to listen to the families blend together.
Love this new blended family!

Ben and Emerson, both widows and single parents of two, are our main characters in Single All The Way by Amy Knupp.
Ben is the local vet, friendly with a big generous heart. Emerson is the town’s salon owner fighting with the solitude left behind by the turns her life has taken in recent years.
Their story is one of resilience, rediscovery but ultimately of finding yourself, how you fit in the world and happiness.
Patrick Zeller and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker were outstanding in their delivery of Ben and Emerson. Brilliant cast!

Ben is the hot vet in town, single dad to two kids and a lot of pets including one very mischievous llama. Emerson, his childhood friend, and his best friend’s widow, is left homeless when her mother-in-law, who she’s been living with, sells the house and moves away. Ben being sweet caring person he is, invite her and her kids to stay with him and his kids for a few weeks while she looks for a place. As they spend more time together, his old buried feelings resurface and she starts to have feelings to. But they’ve both lost loves before and are careful with their hearts.
Ben is such a sweetheart. He’s the type of guy who looks after everyone else, neglecting his own needs in the process, so it’s great that he has friends who care about his wellbeing and his happiness.
Emerson has had a hard time as a single mum and is protective of her kids and her heart. She’s hesitant to let anyone in and is determined to stand on her own two feet, and therefore has a hard time accepting help.
I loved seeing the friendship that developed between Emerson and Ben as well as between their kids. They were a family long before they realised.
I love the community in this town. Everyone supports each other. We get to meet Ben’s lovely grandma who dotes on him and her grandchildren.
The narrators were fantastic in this. It was done in dual style by Patrick Zeller, who is new to me, and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker. They brought the story to life with their stellar performance. I especially enjoyed how they portrayed the different personalities of the kids. This book isn’t super spicy, but has a few scenes that illustrate the growing intimacy between Ben and Emerson. Patrick Zeller was fantastic in the first spicy scene from Ben’s POV, putting in such an emotive performance that had me feeling like I should leave the room to give them some privacy. In that scene, we really feel ben’s vulnerability and his excitement of getting to be with this girl he’s wanted for so long but couldn’t have.
This is a fun cosy, read and I highly recommend it if you like single parent romance with mutual pinning, nosy but supportive family (biological and found), healing and growth and shenanigans involving cute kids and pets.
Warm and fuzzy holdiay romance

Single All the Way is book two in the Single Dads of Dragonfly Lake series. This is a small town, single parents romance. Emerson and her two kids need a place to live immediately. Her late husband’s mother sold the house they were living in. Ben is the small town veterinarian and a single dad. He was best friends with Emerson’s late husband. They all grew up together. Ben had a crush on Emerson long before she ever started dating her late husband, Blake. Ben offers Emerson and her two kids to stay with his family until they get on their feet. This is a sweet book. This is a perfect feel good book to get you in the holiday season mood.
Stephanie Nemeth-Parker and Patrick Zeller did a wonderful job narrating this book.

Veterinarian, Ben Holloway, has a habit of taking in strays; when his first love/crush and friend Emerson Estes and her kids need an emergency place to stay, it comes naturally to him to offer her his home. It seems like it would be the perfect temporary arrangement. But, as they spend each day with each other (and with each other’s kids), their feelings for each other begin to grow. And now, Ben is starting to believe this temporary arrangement should become more permanent. However, convincing Emerson of this is where the difficulty lies. Emerson is riddled with losses, and so, keeps her heart guarded. Can Ben and Emerson overcome all this and have a future together?
Single All the Way was just so good! I loved every minute I spent reading/listening to this book. I especially loved the friendship between Ben and Emerson. They were just so caring towards each other, and I loved seeing their friendship blossom into a romantic relationship. I especially loved how kind and caring Ben was. A plus was seeing their families interacting with each other, and seeing them become one giant blended family; it was all so cute! 💕
Overall, this book had all the feels. It was heartwarming, with lots of banter, and emotional at the right moments. If you’re looking for your next (double) single parent, childhood friends-to-lovers romance story, do not hesitate to pick this up. Oh, and did I mention this is set during Christmas? So, this would be a perfect read this holiday.
Both Patrick Zeller and Stephanie-Nemeth Parker were amazing with their narrations. Patrick Zeller did wonderful with bringing out the heartbroken, yet kind and caring nature of Ben. Whilst Stephanie-Nemeth Parker was also great at portraying Emerson's guarded, soft nature. They were both able to bring out the heartbreak, but passionate personalities of Ben and Emerson. I could feel all the emotions in their voices. Truly magnificent!

Patrick Zeller and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker bring all the fun with their fantastic narration. Zeller is flirty as Ben. A little uncertain at first, but a man with a huge heart, Zeller finds the best voices to make it easy to love him. Parker is Emerson, full of emotions. I love her confidence as she takes charge of her life and her uncertainty for giving her heart. Together they have a great chemistry, a family feel and create an amazing listen.
Fun! Fun! Fun!

Ben is raising his tow daughters on his own since his wife passed away. He had feelings for her when they were teenagers however, she began dating his best friend. Having her live with him only deepens the feelings and chemistry between them but is she ready to let another man into her life?
Ben is a loving father and a caring man who has a huge heart while Emerson has endured so much loss, she is afraid of being hurt again. The menagerie of animals and the children added some humor to this heartwarming story. Through the narrators you could feel the depth of the emotion between them as well as the need to protect their hearts.

I very rarely get to do this because more often than not both formats are equal, but if someone were to ask me which format gives you the best experience, ebook or audio, I will 10/10 highly recommend the audio for this story. This is a me thing, which is why I love when authors give me the opportunity to read and listen to their stories. This story is fantastic, so know that if you choose to read it, it will be fantastic. For me, Patrick Zeller & Stephanie Nemeth-Parker narrated this story with so much emotion and investment in their characters, including the children, that I was lost to them for all 8 hours in one day! Ya’ll, I’d already read the ARC! If you can make me loose time like that, you deserve MAD PROPS and a 👏🏻👏🏻round of applause!👏🏻👏🏻
This story is a heartwarming one. The entire story is brimming with an air of hope and heart and it allowed all the different circumstances that make up the journey be felt that much more poignantly. My eyes were misty a whole lot, but I also smiled and laughed a whole bunch! I dunno, I just found their path to be a tender path with both Ben and Emerson being respectful of each other’s circumstance. I love that Amy chose close proximity to be one of the tropes in this story because they both had children and that just makes the blending of their families that much more realistic in such a small turnaround. Feel me? Everything about this story was genuine and respectful and came across very realistically. I really love this author’s style!! So far, I’ve experienced about 5 or 6 of her stories and they have all been really good! I look forward to catching up with her backlist at some point in my future!
