A spell for every occassion

Meg is looking after her sick fiancé and going about her day to day business when her neighbour is murdered. As her fiancé is the head detective in town she'll have to solve the crime herself!

Oh did I mention she’s a witch.....

Luckily for Meg it’s easy to solve a crime when she has a spell for everything, see through walls, talk to the dead, listen to private phone calls. I enjoyed the story, even if it is a little silly but its a quick fun listen.

Please note, I did receive a free copy of this book in return for an unbiased review.

Works, out of sequence!

It appears that I listened to this one out of sequence, but it made no difference thankfully. A sweet, cosy little town murder/mystery with a teeny bit of witchcraft thrown in for added interest.

Colds and magic

This was a fun quick listen. I liked the fact that Meg had to solve this murder on her own because her boyfriend was to sick, even with magic help. The story and murder is wrapped up quickly, so great if you haven't got long to listen and hate stop starting a book. There is a number of suspects for the murder and Meg questions them all even if the police don't want her help. The use of magic is quirky, making it fun and Meg also gets a little surprise. I enjoyed this one but think it could have been a bit longer as when the end came I was surprised it had finished, I was still waiting for more questions to be asked.
I liked the narrator and thought she sounded just right for this bunch of magical characters.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
