About this listen
Wait for me. Never let me go.
I fell in love with Jackson Moreno in hell, the only two survivors trapped in a catastrophic tunnel collapse. But when rescue comes, I discover he has secrets darker than I could have guessed. He disappears from my life as quickly as he came, and I can’t afford to chase after him when I have to raise my daughter alone.
I fell in love with Jackson Moreno six years later, on a bright summer afternoon, cleaning the lobby of a small-town bank. But he’s still running, and I’m struggling to keep my little family afloat.
I fell in love with Jackson Moreno in three feet of snow, surrounded by garbage and filth, after we lost everything. Because sometimes a tatted bad boy and a shy dad who loves knitting are destined to be together, no matter how many years and miles and memories pull us apart. No matter how many times we have to start over.
If we refuse to be broken, I believe someday we’ll find each other for the last time.
An epic, moving story of second chances and love that defies all odds, featuring a double gay-for-you relationship full of first times, hurt/comfort, a demisexual main character, and mental health representation!
This book contains some mature content related to mental illness and violence. For a full list, see the author's note in the front of the book using the "look inside" feature.

Once again the storytelling and prose in this book was very poetic and descriptive to the point where you could really feel the same emotions the characters were going through. But man did those time jumps HURT. Every time we would get to a letter Oliver had written I just wanted to curl into a ball and cry 😭 all the “wasted time” they had apart just hits me so hard.
Throughout the book Jackson and Oliver are really just going through it, and I do wish we’d had a little bit more of a “stable & cozy” scene for them at the end. But possibly I just need to read the holiday novella for that.
All the emotions with superb narration

We understand from the start that their love story will not be easy at all, since the two men meet for the first time in a tunnel collapse, in which they are the only two survivors. When they get out, Oliver discovers that Jackson hides a dark secret, but he continues believing in him and the fact that they are meant to be together.
Jackson has a difficult past behind him, and struggles to get his head afloat in his world. He keeps running away from Oliver, even though the only thing he would like to do is being by his side.
Oliver keeps running after Jackson, even though he struggles himself with a lot of problems involving his family, and claustrophobia. I sometimes felt the need to hug him to relieve his pain.
Eventually, the two men manage to find their HEA. I listened to the audiobook, therefore I have to give a lots of credits to the narrators too, who gave the right interpretation to the story. Absolutely recommended.

An emotional journey
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
Ollie and Jackson are the only two survivors of a horrific train accident. Forced to spend time together in the darkness of the wreckage, these two men find comfort in each other. They form a bond that cannot be broken - no matter how much life tries!
They had this immensly powerful connection. They were so entwined, they kept finding each other time and time again. Even in the darkness, without knowing what the other looked like their, their hearts knew what they meant to each other.
Their lives were far from perfect - Ollie was dealing with anxiety that only got worse after the accident and Jackson was running from his past, from a life he was forced into but wanted so much to escape.
Their story is one of hope, of trust, of endearing love and of finding a reason not to stop trying, not to stop hoping and not to stop loving.
Show Me Wonders is beautifully narrated by Liam DiCosimo and Wyatt Baker.
Absolutely brilliant

But what would life be without second chances? And so it comes to pass that they meet again many years later.
If you don't mind insta-love and a little coincidence, you'll enjoy this story. Oliver is no ordinary man, he loves to knit and his daughter Megan means the world to him.
Jackson is just Jackson. He has a tragic past, but I loved him for how he never lost faith in Oliver and just the thought of one day seeing Oliver again kept him fighting.
Like I said, the story captivated me, my heart was ripped out and put back together at the end. And I've rarely been so happy about a happy ending as I was here.
A highlight of the story is Oliver's sweet girl Megan, she really shines and makes everyone around her shine.
The two narrators took turns reading from Oliver and Jackson's point of view. Both Wyatt Baker and Liam DiCosimo did a fantastic job of narrating and I was able to get into the characters' heads very well. They did a great job of portraying the emotions and bringing the story to life.
Fantastic story and a great narration

Story = 3.5
Narration = 5 stars
This can be read as a standalone. I read book 1 but I hadn't had time to read book 2 yet. This one was definitely better than the first book.
I loved Jackson from the first page. He was so sweet to Oliver. I was intrigued by how he seemed so nice but was portrayed as a bad guy so I wanted to know more about him. Oliver came across super immature, whiney and weak. He really got on my nerves. He got better but the first 25% of the book was hard to get through. If it wasn't for Jackson I prob wouldn't have made it through that rough beginning. I did think that they made a good couple though and that they had great chemistry. I did find it to be instalove though and they moved way too unrealistically fast for a double gfy situation. I think there was unnecessary heat where there didn't need to be. It just didn't make sense. I did like the overall storyline from start to finish and once I got past that rough start I didn't have any trouble finishing it but I did think that a few things weren't realistic and there were a few things that annoyed me. Overall, it was an alright story, way better than the first. I still probably won't listen to it ever again though.
The dual narration was fantastic. 5 stars from both narrators. I don't usually like dual narrations but this one surpassed all expectations. They both expressed all the emotions wonderfully and brought the story to life and the both gave all the characters their own distinct voices that suited each of them perfectly.
Amazing performance
