About this listen
They call me an outcast, weak.
I’ve fought my whole life for survival, running from an attack on my family I ended up hiding with the Ash Wolves. This one move might be my biggest mistake of all. And I’m the queen of mistakes....
I let them believe I’m broken, let them believe the lies. I let them believe anything they want...as long as it isn’t the truth.
There's a monster inside me, one made of teeth and claws and terrifying need. I swallow it down, hiding under the pretense of being normal. But I'm not normal. I'm anything but.
Bonding is the only thing that will save us - me and the Ash pack. Only I need someone strong enough to fight the darkness inside me...and savage enough to stay.
Will the three ruthless alphas help me...when they find out the truth of what I am?
This is book oone in a shifter paranormal romance story for those who love strong protectors, wolf shifters, and steamy scenes.

I get a lot of people enjoy those Why Choose? sort of romances but personally theres just something about this being actual Wolves, with Actual Alpha's that has me taking a bit of an issue with the RH aspect growing here.
Myra has spent her entire life avoiding others while attempting to hide from herself. Eventually, she is discovered and joins the Ash Wolves. The addition of the zombie element made the plot more thrilling, and the fact that Myra was immune to them made you attempt to figure out why, I think this mystery part of the story is what kept me invested, especially as the RH aspect just wasnt for me.
Krys Janae was a great narrator. Ends on a cliffhanger but I dont think I'll be getting the next book to see if Myra is reunited with her soldiers and is saved.
Ends on a cliffie!

like the story line

The performance left something to be desired though, there was no real change from each pov, so you really had to pay attention to know who was talking.
Zombie, shifters oh my

Myra has been hiding from herself all her life trying to keep away from others and then she is caught and ends up with the Ash Wolves. I loved listening to this and Myra’s fight to stay away from everything but when she is caught the chemistry between her and 3 Alphas is undeniable.i liked the fact this wasn’t just your normal shifter book the added zombie aspect made the story more exciting and the fact Myra was immune to them made you try and work out why but I never guessed the real reason why. Looking forward to the next book and hoping Myra is reunited and saved by her men.

only thing is that sometimes the narrator voice sounded a bit robotic, as if it wasn't a real human reading but a machine
great story!

I really liked Myra, how determined she was to stay independent and free, how hard she fought to protect herself. Having said that it was a little disappointing how quickly she gave in to the alphas but I guess that's more to do with the wolf hierarchy than her human side. I liked how her relationship with the various pack members grew and she never total lost the spark of independence that made her stand out in the first place.
Krys Janaes narration is the best thing about this book. She gives real heart and strength to Myra and makes those domineering alpha characters actually feel like they have genuine motives and you find yourself warming to them and laughing at their aggravation at Myra defying them every chance she gets. I would not have stuck with this book if it wasn't for Krys Janae narrating it.
