I throughly enjoyed this book, the twists in this book had me gripped.. the chemistry between the Mc’s was beautiful.

Two exciting stories!
Deadly Illusion
I went through so many emotions with this story. I started out with so many questions and so frustrated with Jenna but I stopped and thought about it and realized that this story has such a realistic feeling to it. Once I accepted that, everything hurt just a little bit more. Content warnings are big with this one, but if it’s something you can read or listen to, I highly recommend you do because the story is non-stop and exciting. We also have a super slow burn with a protective MMC that will have you swooning.
Fatal Cure
The opening scene was so exciting and well written I could imagine it playing out on a screen. That feeling of excitement never stopped. This one was very plot heavy and dealt with a lot of past trauma from both MCs (content warning check encouraged). I flew through this one because I couldn’t wait to find out how it ended…and I wasn’t disappointed.
Both narrators were outstanding but a special shout out to Michael Norman Johnson. There were so many male characters and he delivered different voices and unique personalities and to each and every one of them. Highly impressed with the narration on this one.

Such good romantic suspense!
Romantic suspense is my jam. I love a good romance that has a bite and Kathy Lockheart pushes all the right buttons for me. In Deadly Illusion, Jenna has moved to a new town to start fresh. She needs to be away from her parents and the shadow of her older sister. Meeting Colton seemed like a dream. He was everything, until she found his true self. But he doesn't understand breaking up. Stalking and terrorizing her is something she will not deal with,so when Damien comes to her rescue, she takes him up on his help. Damien is and MMA fighter, and he protecting Jenna is what he wants to do. But can he keep her safe? In Fatal Cure, Fallon is a DEA agent, ready to save the world.Dillon, part of the Chicago drug ring was unexpected. Saving him was just the start to their feelings and boy do they ever fall hard and fast. Now, both on opposites sides of the two find themselves in incredible danger. Kathy Lockheart then takes that and squeezes my heart, and instills incredible building suspense. She grabbed my attention and didn't let it go. Amazing stories and I can't wait for more.
Sarah Puckett and Michael Norman Johnson continue their narration of this series and they are amazing together. Each brings so much to their characters, from strength and loyalty to their own to the passion they have to each other. I enjoyed them and look forward to more in the series.

These books are amazing, as a duet are unmissable
Deadly Illusion Book 1 Of the duet.
If you are looking for hearts and roses this isn't it. A love story, yes but a tough path getting there. Damien is Alpha and not a typical hero, while Jenna is a strong woman but has made some bad decisions. A very nasty relationship and death that you won't see coming make this story a hard but must read. Our hero is easy to love, and is madly protective of those he loves. Jenna takes some convincing that she is actually a damsel in distress. This is a different take on a love story but is so well written you won't want to put it down. A journey of secrets, deceit and lies it is a harrowing tale that shows how easy it is to be drawn into an abusive relationship and the lengths people go to in order to hide their reality.
Fatal Cure book 2 of the Duet
How does a DEA officer fall for a Drug Lord , especially when drugs have ruined the lives of people she loves. Having worked so hard to make the task force to fight the war against drugs Fallon finds herself torn between the man she is falling hard for and her life long ambition to stop men like him and the trade in death they run.
This is a story of unexpected love between two people who should never have connected. The story has so many twists and turns and is action packed, keeping you on the edge of your seat right to the end.
The duet narration is fantastic and the narrators bring a new depth to this fantastic story. Both stories will draw you in and won't let go until it reaches the end
