The storyline is good and I'm enjoying the growth of many of the characters, however it was hard to finish due to the awful attempt at accents. When the first few books were done so well it really is a let down to be left with this, especially as there are so many varying accents within the books.
Overall I'd still recommend but with caution towards the accents.

Yes, the fact that this book was delayed a couple of times but it was definitely worth the wait. The perfect blend of action, suspense and comedy, Derek Landy has done an amazing job and I can't wait for the next entry. Kevin Hely puts in a captivating and yet hilarious performance here. I for one, recommend this wholeheartedly.

Another entry into the daft, terrfiing and utterly weard world of skullduggery plesent. the strengh of the serese on full desplay with all charitors villans and and heros clearly beliving they are the good guy.. or atleast are on there own tragic heroic jorney. Well worth your time.

I am a huge adult Skulduggery fan. I have only recently got into audiobooks and I have really enjoyed listening to the Skulduggery Pleasant series.
I have been crying with laughter and sorrow at this one.

Narrator can't seem to do Irish accents despite being Irish. Previous narrator was far better

For the sake of this good series replace the narrator.
Great book but poor performance .
Story as you would expect good, as dark as it should be due to what the characters were facing.
Some good twists and turns.
It's a shame Rupert Degas,wasn't narrating, would be 5 stars then.
Although imagine many other narrators would be a big improvement
