Interesting observations about art, value & artist

I didn't know where he was going to go afetr book one. This book is not about Joey and the wise guys, but it is written with the same insightful wit and engaging characterisation. I loved the new characters and I enjoyed being back in the Florida sun,

As I said in my review of book one - if you are looking for something to make you smile and take your mind off your troubles - these books will do fine. They provide easygoing escapism with enough grounded wisdom to make you look for more of Shames's books.

Of course once again Richard Ferrone does a great job giving voice to the book. He's got a nice balance of performing all the characters and projecting the quiet witty tonr of the writing.
