Brown’s scary stories are truly scary despite being appropriate for young listeners as well as older ones. Brown has a sweet voice with a flexible range. She is able to speak through a wide variety of characters. Each environment is carefully rendered by word and by voice, and the creepy and/or violent occurrences are likely to haunt any listener.
