Besides being gifted with a wonderfully listenable (yes, I probably made that up) voice, Sam unpacks a topic beautifully and you just want to keep listening. His explanation on the topic is insightful and intelligent... made me want to hear the book.

No wonder he’s such a good narrator, this is a thoughtful and intriguing insight into the process. I genuinely think that an audiobook creates an additional layer of art - I place a lot of value in the performance and a good performance can really elevate a book.
Samuel West’s narration of Possession was absolutely first class and I might just listen to it all over again!!

A fascinating interview which is very informative about the challenges of reading an audiobook from a master of the genre. Sam West was a superbly fluent interviewee. Brilliant.

For years I have watched TV documentaries, sometimes about subjects I wasn't particularly interested in, just because Samuel West was doing the narration. He is the perfect combination of both his parents' voices. Combined to be become better than either (and they're both pretty good!)
