About this listen
The biography of remarkable SAS Original Reg Seekings, from his humble beginnings in the Cambridgeshire Fens to his instrumental role in the success of the SAS during the Second World War.
Starting at the very bottom of the ranks, Seekings was a farm labourer's son who climbed from private to squadron sergeant-major and became one of the British Army's most highly decorated non-commissioned officers of the Second World War. In short, Seekings was an ordinary man who did extraordinary things. His is a remarkable story–one of fierce ambition, camaraderie, inner strength and heroism as he transcended humble beginnings in the Fen fields of Cambridgeshire. And he was there from the very first day of the SAS, which was born in the late summer of 1941.

SAS Legend
An almost unbelievable story of one of life’s ’Sheep dogs’, a first class warrior. You won’t be disappointed by this account of Seeking’s service. Almost inconceivable in his bravery, tenacity, will and luck. RIP Sir.

Incredibly moving
An incredibly moving story about an amazing individual. We must never forget people like Reg and the many young men and woment like him who went on to do some amazing things. And at such a tender young age.

The original true grit
To say that this was good was an understatement. my Grandfather was stationed with the raiding squadrons and he was my legend and as I listened to this book I pictured him as this is how he was. This book is the genuine apitamy of how these old bays where.
This is a genuine boys own adventure and I would ve love to have met this man, just to shake the hand and thank him, when I joined the Army and I went to the Gulf I can remember my old Grandad saying that he would give his right arm to go in my place so that I didn't have to see the horrors of war. when people say they don't make em like they use to well Reg and my Grandad are those men.

Reg’s bravery
Absolutely brilliant book of this great man’s story along with all the heroic things him and all the men he had served with during WW2. From him growing up and after the war. Brilliant performance too by the author Tony. A must listen!
