Summary

Into the cutthroat world of Corinium television comes mega-star Declan O'Hara. Declan soon realises that the Managing Director, Lord Baddingham, has recruited him merely to help retain the franchise for Corinium. Baddingham has also enticed Cameron Cook, a gorgeous, domineering woman executive, to produce Declan's programme.

As a rival group emerges to pitch for the franchise, reputations ripen and decline, true love blossoms and burns, marriages are made and shattered and sex raises its head at almost every throw....

Very enjoyable listen

My first JILLY COOPER book but can't wait to read the next.
Predictable ending but enjoyable none the less.

Great read

Well read, except for the Irish accents, as all sound the same, and not at all glamorous!

Jilly Cooper at her best!

Wonderful continuation of RCB' s story. A host of new characters to love and hate. Delicious and entertaining. A great holiday read.

Awesome Simply Awesome!

A complete ride of' a book and with every pun intended but with some TV production and the eighties thrown in all woven together so expertly by a cheeky word smith like no one else.

You lothe the bad guys and cheer on the good and you won't want to put it down. Emerse yourself.

love the Cotchester chronicles

Jilly Cooper never disappoints, the narration wasn't my favourite but didn't detract from an enjoyable story

very good

Jilly Cooper is an excellent story teller and, even though her books are quite long, you keep listening quite happily til the end.

Enjoyed

After really loving Riders, the first in this series, I was rather confused to find it had all changed scene, gone where all the horse world, and we now found us in a whole new world. But it didn’t take that long before I found myself intrigued by the new storyline. I was perhaps a little long winded, but mostly very enjoyable.
Then new narator( Sherry Baines) took a bit of getting used to after loving the first one, (Gerri Halligan) but she also did a good job.
