WARNING this book contains triggers

I love the story and the uniqueness of the series but this book was very hard to listen to.
It contains capture, abuse and self harm. I understand how it fits in the story and appreciate the author knowing enough to not try and explain what mental illness sometimes makes unexplainable.
Don't want to put you off a great series just want you to be prepared.
