Alex is still trying to protect Kylie from the aftershocks of her brutal attack from her ex-boyfriend, John Sisco. Kylie feels an increasing sense of paranoia, coupled by threatening messages and even the people close to her questioning her. Alex loves her with everything he has, but they are struggling to put wrongs to right as they forge ahead in their unbreakable bond of love and hope.
As a criminal defense attorney, I can say that the book has the courtroom process and trial drama down pat. I was on pins and needles awaiting the verdict. The writing and story-telling are so exceptional, you will feel like you’re right there in the courtroom.
I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys romance, intrigue, the legal arena, and knowing when your soul mate has arrived.
